Welcome To The Paradise Valley Cultural and Entertainment District

Detroit's newest downtown district highlighting African American arts and culture.

Welcome. With a history as rich as it is storied, the Paradise Valley Cultural and Entertainment District (PVCED) is Metro Detroit’s soon-to-be, go-to destination for vibrant experiences that highlight African American arts and culture.

Envisioned as a design-forward district featuring world-class restaurants, lounges, and unique cultural programming, the Paradise Valley experience was mindfully cultivated to reflect the area’s rich history, as well as the contributions of the African American community. The new Paradise Valley Cultural and Entertainment District will honor a legacy as much as it inspires generations to come.
